Planning the future of Open Space in our community
In March 2024, the ReAL Edgemere CLT launched an effort to bring a new community open space to Beach 43rd and Edgemere Drive, building on the goals of Resilient Edgemere and other previous community planning processes. After a Site Visit Event held on March 16th, the CLT and The Garden by The Bay followed up with a half-day workshop. The CLT and the Garden look forward to sharing a concept design for new open space on the Bayside of the Edgemere by the end of June.

Workshop Materials from April 27
During the April 27 Workshop, residents provided feedback on the Market Lawn, Weaving Gardens, and Central Canopy approaches to the vacant lot on Beach 43rd and Edgemere Drive. The draft approaches for the site are available for download.
